Oracle Corp., Lawson Software, Compuware, Yahoo! Join CardBrowser in Q2
June 30, 2007
NEWS RELEASE – NORTHPORT, N.Y. - June 30, 2007 - CardBrowser announced that an increasing number of major technology companies have signed on for it's online business card service in the second quarter of 2007. CardBrowser attends the major and niche high-tech industry tradeshows and events, collects business cards from C-Level, Sales, Marketing, and Technology Executives, and loads the cards in to a searchable database on the web. The service enables search firms and employers to find passive candidates who do not ordinarily place resumes on the Internet.
In Q2 of 2007, CardBrowser signed on market leading companies including Oracle Corp., Lawson Software, Compuware, Yahoo!, Software Magazine, Corporate Express, and others. CardBrowser also signed agreements with many smaller and emerging high-tech companies, as well as an increasing number of specialized search firms, in Q2.
"CardBrowser has established ourselves as a well-known service in the tech industry" says Steve Morgan, President & CEO of CardBrowser. "We keep signing customers who have used tools like LinkedIn, Jigsaw, and Zoominfo, but they want an alternative - something focused exclusively on high-tech with more accurate and usable information like direct-dial, remote office and mobile phone numbers, and 100% accurate email addresses. That's exactly what we provide and customers are very excited about our face-to-face networking approach" says Morgan.
For calendar year 2007, CardBrowser is planning attendance at approximately 250 software and technology tradeshows in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. "We've been building the CardBrowser database for almost six years, and it keeps getting bigger and better every month" says Morgan.
